The Perfect Ride for Every Stride
I love running with these shoes - so light and comfy! I have run with these shoes outside and on the treadmill for short and long runs (the only time I had any pain was after my treadmill runs, so attributing it to the mill, not the shoes). They are a neutral shoe, but I have tried them with my custom orthotics (not sure what kind of shoe I end up with when I wear a neutral shoe with a custom orthotic?). I like the idea of a biodegradable midsole (a non-toxic, natural additive to the MoGo compound that encourages anaerobic microbes to munch away once it hits an active enclosed landfill) and Brooks DNA which is their custom cushioning.

Great video by Brooks - check out the cameo by ChrisK in his toga!

Happy 4th of July weekend!!

I would think a neutral shoe is the way to go with orthotics.
ReplyDeleteLoved the video, with the ChrisK cameo in his toga. That guy is everywhere!
Hey, where's my appearance fee for that video.
ReplyDeleteThose shoes look cool. I recently tried some new shoes. I am a total Newton shill. I didn't try those new Brooks, but my friend who is super fast loves them. At the end of the day, the Newton's blew away the competition.
When I tried new shoes I ran around the block in different brands so that I can truly feel the difference between them. It was amazing how different shoes can be when comparing them at the same time.
Have an awesome weekend with Super Sexy Daddy.
p.s. I'm really not a freak, just like to tease Kovas
Wait, I mean I ran around the block with one shoes on one foot and a different brand on the other.
ReplyDeleteDifferent shoe on each foot? How does that not make you a freak? :)
ReplyDeleteI have those shoes. I have a neutral foot. I find that those actually make me overpronate... or at least it feels like it sometimes... not always. I had the Saucony Progridridesomethingorother 3 that is now discontinued. I got these because they are supposed to be pretty close. So they are 'ehhh' for me. Glad they are working for you!
