Friday Fluff and Funny

One afternoon while I rode on the trainer, Gaigai ran on the tm next to me.  Not that she has awful form, but I tried to coach her to shorten her stride, take lighter steps, swing her arms lower, etc.  Then I thought - she asked to run, she was having fun and at 9 that's really all that matters.  Hopefully she'll continue to enjoy it.  Getting back to running myself, this is how I feel...

Ok, maybe I need to work on my form a bit:)

Happy to say I have run (actually run/walked) 3 times this week with no knee pain - yay!  I'm slowly increasing the time running and overall time, but I'm not pushing it.

  3. I'm really glad you're managing to get back to running. :) You're so right...what's most important is that she enjoys running. I'm sure you do a great job at managing that line between helpful info and too much. I mean, you want her to enjoy it, but part of enjoying it is being able to maintain it pain-free.

    I have a womens mountain bike ride tomorrow. I'm actually a co-leader for the ride, which is very unlike me. I typically try to avoid any leadership-type roles.
