Foodie Friday - Good for You Granola

On a rare occasion, I buy boxed/bagged cereal (usually granola), but most often we just make our own.  Here's a simple granola with lots of nuts and seeds...

In large bowl combine
4 c. oats
1/2 c. pecans
1 c. slivered almonds
1/2 c. cashews
1 c. pumpkin seeds
1 c. walnuts
1tsp coconut palm sugar
cinamon and salt, to taste
1/2 c. coconut oil

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring after 10.  Let cool and enjoy!

Nut and seed types and amounts can be varied according to taste.

What's your favorite granola combination?

  1. I think ours are better than the store-bought ones: organic, less sugar, more variety - thanks for making them!
